Hi there, I'm Marissa!

My name is Marissa. I’m a Dutch artist specializing in hyperrealistic oil and airbrush portraits. My work focuses on capturing quiet, emotional moments through lifelike faces, delicate light, and flowing compositions. Inspired by water and reflection, I aim to create a sense of serenity and depth that draws viewers into a still, contemplative space.. My mission is to continue spreading my techniques and skills with as many people as possible worldwide, through my social media community  and my self-paced Airbrush Realism MasterCourses.

While my style is rooted in realism, I enjoy blending it with abstract elements—distortions, shifting colors, and soft transitions—to evoke emotion and movement. In series like Washing Away My Sorrow, I explore themes of transformation, vulnerability, and inner peace, using every brushstroke to pause time and tell a story beyond the surface
